“I take pride in being able to anticipate client needs. I accomplish this by thoroughly understanding all aspects of a clients’ business, having clear and open lines of communication, and above all, understanding the clients’ needs, as well as their expectations.”
Experience and Expertise
With nearly 20 years of experience serving clients, Eric has experience working with companies in all industries; however, has significant depth serving companies in the construction/real estate, restaurant, private club/golf course, and fair value investment industries. His clients have been as small as start-up and as large as $40 million – and because of this he can handle the needs of a small entrepreneurial organization, as well as fully established and mature companies.
Eric enjoys providing a full range of audit, accounting and tax services to his clients. However, he really enjoys resolving ownership disputes, increasing bonding capacity for his construction clients, minimizing taxes for his business clients and ownership alike, and sinking his teeth into complex issues such as IRS and State tax disputes.
When working with a client, Eric likes to understand the entire picture of the clients’ business, ownership structure, and long-term goals. This means looking beyond the task at hand, and seeking to build a relationship rooted in open and frequent communication. When he achieves this, he is able to elevate his role beyond that of accountant, in fact becoming a trusted advisor to his clients. And, as a trusted advisor he is positioned to help minimize his clients’ liability, reduce their risk, capitalize on planning opportunities, and above all else, minimize their exposure to taxes.
